About
Receiver Design, Inc., a San Francisco Design Company, was founded in 2002 by Jafön Hakkinen –a native San Franciscan– and other talented friends.
Receiver consists of a small team of design professionals wtih deep subject matter expertise in user experience, technology and digital branding. We are a socially conscious company, an EOE, and dog friendly.
From 2005 — 2010, Receiver hosted a small art gallery in the front of our design offices and showed the works of emerging artists, local and international. We also curated the Orange Alley Mural Project; a public mural art space. An archive of art works, happenings, and news can be found here: receivergallery.com. Thanks goes to artist and curator Chris Pew for curating our art program for many years.
